Springfield, IL…. Assistant Minority Leader Norine Hammond (R-Macomb) met with Western Illinois University President John Thomas and House Republican Leader Jim Durkin (R-Western Springs) to discuss higher education priorities. The meeting included presidents from other state universities as well as other members of the House Republican Caucus.
On the agenda was specific capital projects that the University would like to see funded, as well as outlining the major concerns for higher education as the spring session winds to a close.
