Thursday at the State Capitol, Illinois legislative leaders discussed critical issues for Western Central Illinois regions. This was a part of the Macomb area Chamber of Commerce legislative day.
Chamber members got to hear from Illinois lawmakers as well as express their own concerns on issues like the state’s workforce and higher education.
These lawmakers and speakers included: Rep. Norine Hammond, Rep. Dan Swanson, Sen. Mike Halpin, Governor Pritzker, Mark Reyney with Illinois’ Farm Bureau, and Robert Stephan with Intersect Illinois.
