As we get to work this final week of the spring legislative session, we remind Democrats that Illinois doesn’t have a revenue problem, it has a spending problem. The tax, spend, repeat tactics of the past have pushed residents to the brink. It’s time to rein it in and finally provide some relief for Illinois families.
While Illinois families are forced to make hard budgeting decisions due to rising costs from his bad policies, the Governor is apparently not living in the same reality. This year, he proposed the highest state budget in Illinois history.
