Hammond criticizes Democrats’ compulsion for excessive spending

Deputy Republican Leader Norine Hammond (R-Macomb) criticized Illinois Democrats today on the House Floor for their excessive spending. Since 2019, Governor JB Pritzker and the Democratic supermajority have increased spending by $15 billion. As budget negotiations get underway, House Republicans will stand with hardworking families against any attempt to increase taxes.
